For each of their excursions, the two offer a tip for a stop. Let them inspire you to spend a holiday with us in the region. |
![]() | The Swabian Alb is a paradise for hikers. The hiking tours in the region are characterised by an area-wide network of certified trails. This means many natural and cultural highlights along the way, accessible on near-natural paths and uniform signposting, in short an optimal hiking experience for young and old. One example of this are the Ice Age trails in the Alb-Donau district. Hikers here stroll through winding river valleys, on panoramic ridges and through dense forests. The 20 circular trails are 6 to 15 km long and ideal for day and half-day hikes. And almost on our doorstep - get to know a stunning landscape with caves, rocks, blue springs and meet important archaeological sites with the Blaubeurer Felsensteig or the Eiszeitjägerpfad. Because people already lived here 40,000 years ago. |
